Producer Lock

Effective September 1, 2007

The quote policy at Stirling is designed to protect the agent that brings us to the decision maker first. In most cases our policy is to meet with the decision maker prior to quoting to determine if our services are suited to the Prospect.

1)       If we meet with the decision maker and have a serious discussion of our services before anyone else requests a quote, then that agent has a three-month lock on our services from the date of the meeting.  We will not offer our services through any other agent during the lock period. 

2)       If we receive a request to quote from another source prior to meeting with the decision maker, the first agent will receive our quote two days earlier than the next in line.  When we release their quote, we will notify agents, in turn, that another agent(s) is quoting Stirling Benefits. 

3)       Similar services will have similar fees.  However, fees and projections will vary based on the differing strategies offered by the agent. 

Our suite of wellness and risk reduction services are best suited to those willing to adjust their plans to improve the health of their workforce.  By meeting with the prospect prior to quoting, we can offer customized services tailored to meet their business objectives.
